Sensitive Assays by Nucleophile-Induced Rearrangement of Photoactivated Diarylethenes

Abstract: Upon light-induced isomerization, diarylethenes (DAEs) equipped with reactive aldehyde moieties rearrange selectively in the presence of amines, accompanied by decoloration.
