Senior Public Managers: A Novel Dataset on Members of the Chilean Civil Service

Abstract: Where do appointments based on political trust end and meritocratic recruitments begin? This question dates to the end of the nineteenth century and is linked to civil service systems’ modernisation processes in the twentieth century.
