Semi-invariants and their use for stability analysis of planar systems

Abstract: Semi-invariants and relative characteristic functions extend to nonlinear systems the concept of eigenvectoreigenvalue pair for linear systems, and are, therefore, very useful to depict the behaviour of the system.
