Self-trapped interlayer excitons in van der Waals heterostructures

Abstract: The self-trapped state (STS) of interlayer exciton (IX) has been aroused enormous interesting owing to their significant impact on the fundamental properties of the van der Waals heterostructures (vdWHs).
