“…Apart from hand hygiene, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization, unique infection control practices (indoor air quality, transmission‐based precautions) in transplant units are crucial components for patient safety and good outcomes. In a survey done by Katoch et al., 11 which included 32 tertiary care public and private facilities, 13% of hospitals had basic infection control and prevention (IPC) practices, 28% hospitals had intermediate, and 59% hospitals had advanced IPC practices.
