Abstract:In this research, we combined mechanical activation (MA), self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS), and spark plasma sintering (SPS) methods to obtain a dense high-entropy (Hf,Ta,Nb)(C,N) carbonitride and studied its properties.
