Self-organized system-size oscillation of a stochastic lattice-gas model

Abstract: The totally asymmetric simple exclusion process (TASEP) is a paradigmatic stochastic model for nonequilibrium physics, and has been successfully applied to describe active transport of molecular motors along cytoskeletal filaments.
