Abstract:Polyuria is not an uncommon perioperative complication, following coronary artery bypass surgery. Diabetes insipidus (DI) results from inadequate secretion of antidiuretic hormone (ADH) from the pituitary gland (Central DI)or the absence of the normal response by the renal tubules to ADH(Nephrogenic DI).Here we present a 55 years old male who underwent Aortic valve replacement.
