Abstract:Electrospray deposition (ESD) is employed to produce separator membranes for coin-cell lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) using off-the-shelf polyimide (PI). The PI coatings are deposited directly onto planar NMC electrodes via self-limiting electrospray deposition (SLED).
