Abstract:In this paper, we explore the phenomenon of “self-deception” within the context of nursing, focusing on how nurses employ this coping mechanism when faced with dissonance, distress, and conflicting situations in clinical settings. Our primary objective is to examine the phenomenon of self-deception using Rodgers’ evolutionary method of concept analysis.
