“…Occupational therapy literature described how a trusting mentoring relationship assisted in improving competence and confidence (Jackson et al, 2022), and recent medicine literature also stressed the importance of trust (Odell et al, 2022). In our review, details were vague about the behaviours and personality traits that foster trust, but communication skills seemed important (Stephenson et al, 2022).
