Self-Assembled Sandwich-like MXene-Derived Composites as Highly Efficient and Sustainable Catalysts for Wastewater Treatment

Abstract: Photocatalysts play an increasingly important role in environmental remediation polluted by industrial wastewater. However, the preparation of adsorbents and catalysts with high activity by simple and easy methods is still a great challenge. Here, sandwich-like composite catalyst Cu2O/TiO2/Ti3C2 was prepared by an easily available solvent reduction measure for the highly efficient catalytic nitro compounds. In particular, sandwich-like composite catalyst Cu2O/TiO2/Ti3C2 exhibits excellent catalysis for 2-nitro… Show more

“…As in AFP 2e , the possible major resonance form in basic solution, the HOMO-LUMO gap is also reduced compared to AFP 2 , making it more close to the excitation energy. It might be responsible for the enhancement of fluorescence in basic solutions, demonstrating wide applications. …”

“…The result of EIS curves shows that the BPNS-PEI/MB-90 composite film has the smallest semicircular arc, indicating that it had the best conductivity and carrier transfer rate, as shown in Figure c. All the results prove that the obtained BPNS-PEI and dye composite films had high-efficiency charge-transfer ability and showed enhanced photoelectric conversion ability compared with pure MB film and BPNS-PEI film electrodes, showing wide applications in composite materials. …”

“…The trend change is consistent with the results seen by SEM. This is mainly because the diameter and thickness of the fiber membrane obtained by electrospinning constantly change with the addition of KH550-CNC. The overall increase in the diameter of the composite fiber and the more complicated cross-covering between the fibers will lead to an increase in porosity. However, excessive diameter and thickness will increase the density of the fiber membrane. The porosity calculated by the image method begins to decrease (Table ).…”
