Self-Assembled Fluid Phase Floating Membranes with Tunable Water Interlayers

Abstract: We present a reliable method for the fabrication of fluid phase, unsaturated lipid bilayers by self-assembly onto charged Self-Assembled Monolayer (SAM) surfaces with tunable membrane to surface aqueous interlayers.
