Selegiline (deprenyl) decreases calbindin‐D28k expression in cortical neurons of rats socially deprived during the post‐weaning period

Abstract: Preclinical studies indicate that selegiline (deprenyl), frequently used in some neurodegenerative diseases, exert protective effects on central nervous system neurons of individuals exposed to social isolation (SI).
