Selective photoreduction of acetonitrile to acetaldehyde in dilute aqueous solutions

Abstract: Acetonitrile is a commonly used solvent in both industry and research. The treatment of acetonitrile wastes in dilute aqueous solutions with visible light offers advantages to chemical treatment and ultraviolet (UV) irradiation.
