Restructuring plays a vibrant role in the area of power trading all across the globe. The main aim of restructuring is to provide electricity to the customer at competitive price. In India after enactment of Electricity Act 2003, Indian electricity sector is reformed up to some extent, but the main objective of making the electricity market fully competitive is not yet achieved. The main reason behind this is lack of financial resource for erecting conventional power plants. The use of renewable energy especially solar energy which is available in abundance may fill the energy gap and would also help in saving the environment. However, a new type of electricity market and operating mechanism need to be developed for trading of solar power. This paper proposes a novel market structure and operating mechanism for trading of solar power. In addition to this different key features, implementation steps and issues are addressed for the proposed model. This market model may help in to fulfill the promise of providing the electricity to all in India.

Orderability, weak orderability and the existence of continuous weak selections on spaces with a single non-isolated point and their products are discussed. We prove that a closed continuous image X of a suborderable space must be hereditarily paracompact provided that its product X × Y with some non-discrete space Y has a separately continuous weak selection.2010 Mathematics Subject Classification. Butterfly points and hyperspace selections

If f is a continuous selection for the Vietoris hyperspace ℱ(X) of the nonempty closed subsets of a space X, then the point f(X)∊ X is not as arbitrary as it might seem at first glance. In this paper, we will characterise these points by local properties at them. Briefly, we will show that p=f(X) is a strong butterfly point precisely when it has a countable clopen base in cl(U) for some open set U⊂ X\{p} with cl(U)=U ∪ {p}. Moreover, the same is valid when X is totally disconnected at p=f(X) and p is only assumed to be a butterfly point. This gives the complete affirmative solution to a question raised previously by the author. Finally, when p=f(X) lacks the above local base-like property, we will show that ℱ(X) has a continuous selection h with the stronger property that h(S)=p for every closed S⊂X with p∈S.
