The relevance of the article does not raise any doubts, especially in the context of modern consumption of rhenium. Rhenium is an industrial metal that has gained increasing recognition and is widely used not only in Russia but also in foreign countries, mainly in the form of alloys with other elements, imparting special physicochemical properties to alloys based on wolfram and molybdenum. The most popular alloys with the addition of molybdenum and tungsten are recognized. Adding of a minor amount of rhenium reduces the transition temperature of wolfram and molybdenum to the fragile state and at the same time makes it possible to maintain elasticity at high temperatures. The objective of this article is to analyze the demand for rhenium abroad and its production by analyzing the market for mineral raw materials, by studying reports, literary sources, reports of companies for the production and consumption of rhenium, which are leaders in their field of activity. The article presents the results of the analysis of rhenium global production and consumption.

The article presents a study and analysis of the causes of deformation of the slopes and sides of the quarry indicates that the magnitude and nature of the deformation processes depend on the height of the ledge, the angle of slope of the slopes, the physical and mechanical properties, the lithological and structural features of the instrument array and the geodynamic activity of the fault zones. The influence of the deformation zones of the sides of the quarry on the transport of rock masses is justified. The zone of deformed masses of the ore deposit, which affect the movement of the rock mass, is studied. Each process performed in open pit mining is linked to another workflow. Without ensuring the safety of mining operations and performing the tasks set is impossible. Transportation of rock masses in the lower horizons of a deep quarry is one of the main tasks of the industry. At the same time, the removal of deformation and landslides in the area where the transport berm is being constructed for draining and continuous transportation is the main goal of the quarry. The stability of the transport berm depends directly on the stability of the side of the quarry. It is determined that the choice of a single-lane or twolane transport berm constructed for heavy-duty quarry dump trucks depends on the condition of the side of the quarry.

Rhenium is widely used in manufacturing industry and metallurgy. Today the consumption of rhenium is high, but there are very few deposits in the world where it is mined. Thus, the aim of the study is to identify areas of distribution of rhenium on Kudryavy volcano, located on the islands of the Kuril ridge (Russia). In this connection, during the field period, we took samples of a volcanic massif weighing 70 kg, and also studied the geothermal fields with a pyrometer. Laboratory research included the study of composition of samples by the method of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and spectrometric analysis. The article defines the zones of distribution of rhenium mineralization, presents the results of measurements of the temperature of geothermal fields and the elemental composition of technological samples. The geology, development technology is described, the analysis of the destruction of rocks, determined by the acoustic method, the specific resistance of breakdown during electrothermal loosening is given. The parameters of the tubular shovel conveyor at which the productivity of 88 m 3 /h is achieved. The results obtained will make it possible to identify promising geothermal fields, determine the development technology, and contribute to the study of volcanic deposits.
