Selection of Consortia of Microorganisms-Destructors of Monoaromatic Hydrocarbons

Abstract: Hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms capable to grow on fluorene have been isolated from oil-polluted soils of the Western Kazakhstan. The destruction of the investigated substrate by these cultures was studied. The most active strains almost completely utilized fluorene in 15 days.
