Selección de hongos entomopatógenos para controlar salivazos (Hemiptera: Cercopidae) de la caña de azúcar en Colombia

Abstract: Los salivazos (Hemiptera: Cercopidae) amenazan con convertirse en plagas de la caña de azúcar en Colombia. Desde el 2007, se detectó Aeneolamia varia en la zona central del Valle del Cauca, lo cual motivó a los productores de caña de azúcar a tomar medidas de emergencia para controlar estas infestaciones. Otra especie Zulia carbonaria también se registra atacando caña de azúcar y se usó en este estudio debido a restricciones cuarentenarias impuestas a A. varia.
