Seismic preparedness of families with children: Measures and dynamics

Abstract: Earthquakes are unpredictable events, thus seismic preparedness of households should be fostered, considering the specific needs of each family. Children, for example, are particularly vulnerable to disasters and to the effects of their consequences, but can also act as promoters of preparedness within families.
