This study aims to present improvement measures for firefighters using firefighting facilities installed in accordance with the fire safety performance standards of connected water pipes at fire sites. Problems caused by the installation of open and close valves in the connection pipe from the water outlet to the main pipe of the connection pipe facility were studied, and firefighting personnel were used according to the pressure in the pipe installed in the apartment. The intention was to improve the problems in firefighting activities caused by the unclear regulation that ‘the pipe should be installed in a position that can be easily distinguished from the pipes of other facilities or indicated that it is a pipe of firefighting facilities so that it can be identified in red’. Additionally, suggestions were made to establish a new regulation for the installation of fire extinguishing facilities in an indoor firebox on the first floor of a complex building and a project to support the installation of a connected water pipe (65 A) in an indoor firebox on the first floor of an apartment building.
