The study is devoted to the scientific analysis of the prevention and overcoming of resistance to the investigation of crimes committed against participants in the criminal process. It was concluded that the systematic implementation of scientific recommendations, which are based on the provisions of criminology, criminal process and psychology, will help to increase the effectiveness of activities in the specified area. Arguments are presented in favor of granting operational units the right to immediately initiate and conduct visual surveillance of persons who were discovered in the process of secret investigative actions (search), with the aim of obtaining more information about their personal data and evidence of their involvement in committing or preparing a crime against participants in criminal proceedings. The focus is on the increased effectiveness of victimological prevention and individual prevention of crimes of the studied category. The appropriateness of the use of Ukraine, taking into account the national specifics of the world's best practices to overcome countermeasures and prevent crimes against participants in criminal proceedings, in particular, the system of early prevention and security measures, is justified.

The article is devoted to ways of solving the problem of prevention of criminal offenses in Ukraine regarding individual participants in criminal proceedings, in particular, witnesses and victims in the context of ensuring their safety in criminal proceedings. Based on the study of foreign experience in solving this problem in criminal proceedings, it was established that the key features of the procedural status of witnesses and victims, which distinguish them from other participants in criminal proceedings, in particular, the suspect, the accused, are the presence, respectively, of a statutory duty or right to provide independent impartial testimony on the merits of criminal proceedings, as well as the obligation to provide truthful testimony. However, such statutory obligations of the specified participants in criminal proceedings must be confirmed by appropriate guarantees of their safety from the legislator. Their essence as subjects of the criminal process, who are carriers of evidentiary information, emerges from a theoretical study of the scientific positions of individual scientists regarding the purpose and grounds of protection and ensuring their safety, as well as an analysis of the norms of criminal and criminal procedural legislation in force in Ukraine, which are designed to implement ways prevention of the possibility of committing criminal offenses against the witness and the victim in the context of ensuring their protection and safety in criminal proceedings. An analysis of the positive for Ukraine experience of some foreign states in building a system of protection and ensuring the safety of the mentioned participants in the process in order to prevent criminal offenses against them is also presented. The use of international experience is invaluable for the urgent need to improve the institution of prevention of criminal offenses against participants in criminal proceedings in Ukraine. After all, today in Ukraine there is an urgent need to develop an effective system of protection and protection of analyzed participants in criminal proceedings, given the lack of a mechanism for implementing the relevant legislation.

The main purpose of the article is to develop a theoretical and methodological approach to determining the influence of criminal crime factors in the country on the level of financial security of the state. For this purpose, the key object of study is the Jordanian financial security system. The scientific task is to establish possible relationships between the level of criminalization of the economy in the country and the security of the financial sector. The research methodology involves the use of the method of correlation and regression analysis, the use of special software for working with data analysis, the F-criterion modeling method, the Hoerl model, and an abstract logical method for summarizing the research results. Conclusions about the state and trends of the Corruption Perception Index in Jordan were analyzed and made. A calculation of the level of financial security of Jordan over the past five years is presented. Based on the results of the study, it was proven that the influence of economic crime and criminal offenses in the economy as a whole have a direct significant impact on the level of quality of life of the population of Jordan and financial security in general. The urgent need for shadowization of the Jordanian economy has been proven in the context of increasing the level of its financial security, which is aimed at reducing such criminal offenses as corruption and deep shadowing due to criminal activity. It was established based on the results of calculations that an increase in the level of financial security in Jordan has a direct impact on changes in the level of quality of life of the population in the country. The study is limited by taking into account the specifics of only one country - Jordan. Future research prospects aim to address this limitation and include more Middle Eastern countries.
