Secrecy enhancing for space shift keying‐based communication systems

Abstract: In this letter, a novel space shift keying (SSK)-based communication scheme for secrecy enhancing is proposed. In the proposed scheme, one legitimate user and one eavesdropper exist as the receivers. The secrecy rate (SR) performance is achieved by applying the designed artificial noise (AN) to the traditional SSK system. In this way, we can effectively interfere the eavesdropper while maintaining the communication for the legitimate user. Results from the simulations demonstrate that the proposed scheme outpe… Show more

“…In recent years, some scholars have begun to consider using legitimate user AS to improve the safe interrupting capacity of the system [30]. By selecting some antennas from all antennas for signal processing, AS technology can obtain system performance while saving hardware costs and reducing system complexity.…”

“…Therefore, the research studies of secrecy enhancing in SSK systems have attracted widespread attention. In our earlier research [1], two artificial noises (ANs) were designed in SSK under perfect channel state information (CSI) to enhance secrecy. Specifically, one AN is transmitted with the data information, and the other AN is transmitted alone.…”
