Secrecy DoF of Blind MIMOME Wiretap Channel With Delayed CSIT

Abstract: We study the Gaussian MIMOME wiretap channel where a transmitter wishes to communicate a confidential message to a legitimate receiver in the presence of eavesdroppers, while the eavesdroppers should not be able to decode the confidential message. Each node in the network is equipped with arbitrary number of antennas.Furthermore, channels are time varying, and there is no channel state information available at the transmitter (CSIT) with respect to eavesdroppers' channels; and transmitter only has access to de… Show more

“…In [12], with alternating current CSIT, delayed CSIT, and no CSIT, the SDoF region of two-user MISO broadcast channel was characterized. The study of [13] derived the sum-SDoF of the multiple-input multiple-output multiple-eavesdropper wiretap channel (MIMOME), where the transmitter wants to communicate with a legitimate receiver with delayed CSIT in the presence of many eavesdroppers with no CSIT.…”

“…Thereafter, the SDoF regions of two-user multiple-input single-output (MISO) BCCM with alternating CSIT was derived in [11]. The linear SDoF of blind multi-user MISO wiretap channel with delayed CSIT was characterized in [12]. Recently, in [13], the interplay of link connectivity and alternating CSIT in MISO BCCM was studied from the SDoF perspective.…”

“…Since the transmitters do not have the eavesdropper's CSIT, the output at the K antennas of the eavesdropper are entropy symmetric [3], i.e., any two subsets of the antenna outputs have the same differential entropy, if the subsets are of equal size. Finally, we use a MIMO version of the least alignment lemma [4,5], which states that the differential entropy at the output of the terminal which does not provide CSIT is the greatest among terminals having equal number of antennas. Intuitively, this holds since no signal alignment is possible at the output of the terminal which does not provide CSIT.…”
