There are many online platforms that can help students to check their grammar. To correct their writing, students usually use online grammar checkers such as Grammarly. This research was conducted to know the English department students’ perspective of Grammarly software as the media to check the grammar in their writing. This research was conducted by using a descriptive qualitative method. The data of this research were taken through a questionnaire. By conducting this research, researchers hope that students can have an idea about Grammarly as one of the online grammar checkers. The result of this research showed that Grammarly gives beneficial for students. Grammarly really helps the students to correct their writing. However, Grammarly still has some drawbacks, such as miscorrection and limited features for the free version, yet students agree that Grammarly helps them a lot.

The use of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) tools to support foreign language teaching and learning has become very common nowadays and makes learning more enjoyable. This study focused on students’ perceptions of using Blooket in teaching and learning English vocabulary. The study case and questionnaires were used to survey (72 non-English major students) and face-to-face interviews (7 students and 3 teachers) to collect data at Long An College of Education (LACE), Vietnam. Data collection was conducted for two months at this site. The data were obtained from the questionnaires sent to students via Google Forms, then analyzed by SPSS software version 26. From the data analysis, the author found that students were very interested in learning vocabulary through http://blooket.com, a classroom game website, which offers a wide variety of interactive and innovative games. The disadvantage is that this site does not allow audio and video to be inserted into the questions and answers; images cannot be inserted into the answer either; and there is a limit of 60 participants if using a free account. Furthermore, with an older version of the phone, you must download the Firefox browser in order to join the game. These disadvantages can all be easily solved. Therefore, it is evident that Blooket is an effective learning medium that helps to increase students' vocabulary when used in online or offline classes by teachers or when learners use it themselves at home to learn vocabulary. Unquestionable are the immeasurable benefits of reading to an individual's mental growth. Consequently, scholars have long established the importance of developing reading skills at the elementary level. Although reading is a recurrent research subject, the prevalence of reading difficulties among learners remains. This necessitates the use of periodic assessments of learners' reading proficiency to serve as the basis for remediation programs. In this study, the researchers used the descriptive correlational design to measure the reading level of pupils' using the Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), focusing on word recognition and reading comprehension. Data were gathered from 800 sampled public school grade school intermediate level pupils (431 males and 369 females) enrolled in the School Year 2016-2017 in two Philippine provinces; specifically: Pangasinan and La Union. Inferential statistics were used to show how sex and geographic location could be determiners of reading performance and how word recognition can affect reading comprehension. Findings revealed that the majority of the pupils are in the frustration reading level and males are better readers compared to females. Findings further showed that pupils from La Union have better reading Proficiency than those from Pangasinan. Though word recognition can be attributed to reading comprehension, it is not a single factor affecting reading comprehension, implying that other strong factors may influence pupils' reading comprehension. The researcher strongly recommends schools in the provinces implement intensive reading remediation programs to address students' reading difficulties. Future researchers are likewise encouraged to explore other factors that could be influencing reading comprehension like socio-demographic factors and biological factors.
