The ancestral area reconstruction suggests that despite an early presence on the American continent, most extant American species are the results of a later re-colonization from Asia, probably through the Bering Land Bridge. The results suggest more recent exchanges between Asia and western North America than with eastern North America. The current distribution of roses from the Synstylae lineage in Europe is probably the result of a migration from Asia approx. 30 million years ago, after the closure of the Turgai strait. Directions for a new sectional classification of the genus Rosa are proposed, and the analyses provide an evolutionary framework for future studies on this notoriously difficult genus.

Mục tiêu: Chiết xuất, phân lập một số hợp chất từ cây Thài lài trắng (Commelina diffusa Burm.f.) Đối tượng và phương pháp: Cây Thài lài trắng được ngâm chiết bằng MeOH, sau đó cắn MeOH được lắc phân đoạn với n-hexan và ethyl acetat. Sử dụng các phương pháp sắc ký thích hợp để phân lập ba hợp chất sạch, ký hiệu 1-3. Sau đó, đo nhiệt độ nóng chảy, phổ khối (MS), phổ cộng hưởng từ hạt nhân (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DEPT) để xác định cấu trúc hóa học của chúng. Kết quả: Ba hợp chất được xác định là stigmasterol (1), daucosterol (2) và quercitrin (3). Trong đó, hợp chất 3 lần đầu tiên được phân lập từ loài thực vật này. Kết luận: Nghiên cứu đã chiết xuất, phân lập được 3 hợp chất từ cắn chiết ethyl acetate của cây Thài lài trắng (Commelina diffusa Burm.f.), gồm stigmasterol (1), daucosterol (2) và quercitrin (3).

Dog rose is a wild plant that grows throughout the world particularly in some regions of Iran, as a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals; it is interested in pharmaceutical and food industries. Thus, its phytochemical and horticultural traits including vitamin C, anthocyanins, antioxidants, flavonoids and total phenols were studied in three habitats -Eshkevarat-Rudsar, Kaleshom-Jirandeh and Rudbar-Kushk valley-at two fruit maturity stages 50% maturity and full maturity. It was found that the interaction between habitat and harvest time was significant for the amount of antioxidant, vitamin C and flavonoid. The highest antioxidant, vitamin C and flavonoid contents were obtained in Rudbar-Kushk valley at 50% maturity, in Eshkevarat-Rudsar at full maturity and in Eshkevarat-Rudsar at 50% maturity, respectively. But, the influence of habitat by harvest stage was not significant on total phenol and anthocyanin content.
