“…The chemical reactions in the system O 2 -NO x has been studied in a conventional furnace. The reaction rates of formation and decomposition of NO x have been measured by monitoring the isotopic concentration in a closed system (conventional furnace) and using isotopical labeled (with 14 N, 15 N, 16 N, 16 O, and 18 O) NO x and O 2 gas mixtures. It was found that O 2 and NO reacted at room temperature to NO 2 and N 2 O.…”
