Second Grade Bioconvective Nanofluid Flow with Buoyancy Effect and Chemical Reaction

Abstract: This study mainly concerns with the examination of heat transfer rate, mass and motile micro-organisms for convective second grade nanofluid flow. The considered model comprises of both nanoparticles as well as gyrotactic micro-organisms. Microorganisms stabilize the suspension of nanoparticles by bio-convective flow which is generated by the combined effects of nanoparticles and buoyancy forces. The Brownian motion and thermophoretic mechanisms along with Newtonian heating are also considered. Appropriately m… Show more

“…More to the point, the flows of electrically conducting fluid through porous medium have acquired exceptional rank and have been the spotlight of interest of many researchers. [13][14][15][16] The precise applications initiated in the study of groundwater flow, irrigation problems, crude petroleum recovery, heat-storage beds, thermal and insulating engineering, chromatography, and chemical catalytic reactors. However, there is a limited number of these problems, most of them do not have an exact solution.…”

“…Unfortunately, there is no specific constitutive equation available that describes the entire non-Newtonian materials. Thus, several researchers [2][3][4][5][6][7][8] have used various constitutive equations according to their rheological properties about non-Newtonian behavior. Shafiq and Sindhu 2 considered the hydromagnetic flow of Williamson fluid over a stretched surface with thermal radiation.…”
