Seasonal physiological responses to heat in an alpine range-restricted bird: the Cape Rockjumper

Abstract: Hot, dry summer conditions impose physiological stress on endotherms, yet we have a poor understanding of how endotherms seasonally adjust their costs of thermoregulation under hot conditions.
