Seasonal Incidence of Perforation and Severe Bleeding of Peptic Ulcer

Abstract: Periodicity of complications related to peptic ulcers has been proposed since the beginning of this century. However, this problem is still controverse in the literature. The present paper studied 735 consecutive patients treated for perforations and/or severe bleedings caused by peptic ulcers during a 10-year period.
