Search for tetraquark candidateZ(4430)in meson photoproduction

Abstract: We propose a search for the newly discovered tetraquark candidate Zð4430Þ in photoproduction. Based on the Belle results, we show that if Zð4430Þ is a genuine resonance, its significantly large coupling to 0 will cause it to stand out above the background in p ! Z þ ð4430Þn ! 0 þ n. We consider the dependence of the cross section for the quantum numbers (J P ¼ 1 À , 1 þ , or 0 À ).

“…The aim is to reveal their internal quark-gluon structure and determine their parameters, such as the masses, current couplings (pole residues) and width of decay modes. Thus, Z(4430) was interpreted as the diquark-antidiquark [13][14][15][16][17][18][19], molecular state [20][21][22][23][24], the threshold effect [25] and hadro-charmonium composite [26].…”

“…In the past yeas, there are some theoretical explorations of the production of charmonium-like state by other processes different from the above four mechanisms mentioned above. For example, Liu, Zhao and Close suggesed that Z(4430) ± can be produced via the meson photoproduction process γp → Z(4430) + n → ψ ′ π + n [7]. While the authors in Ref.…”
