Seamless Steel Tubes for Aircraft

Abstract: ALTHOUGH the primary object of this article is to describe processes and plant used in the manufacture of cold drawn seamless steel tubing, it cannot be considered complete without some reference to previous work on the steel, by which it is converted from the solid rolled billet to the hollow bloom, which may be considered as the “raw material” for cold drawing.
