“…In particolare, per l'isola di Linosa, grazie all'utilizzo di navi oceanografiche del CNR, tra il 2016 e il 2017 sono stati acquisiti dati ben oltre i limiti dell'AMP, che hanno permesso di osservare il reale sviluppo dell'edificio vulcanico sommerso dell'isola (Tonielli et al, 2019;Romagnoli et al, 2020). L'analisi di tutti i dati raccolti ha consentito la realizzazione di una mappa tematica dei principali ambienti sedimentari e bentonici (scala 1:15000) in un range di profondità compreso tra i 20 e i 600 m. Inoltre, la mappa è corredata sia da immagini raccolte con investigazioni ROV che dall'integrazione dalla distribuzione spaziale dei foraminiferi bentonici e dalla identificazione di specie caratteristiche di diverse tipologie di facies (Ferraro et al, 2020).…”
