Screening of verotoxin-producing Escherichia coli (VETC) O104-2011 from Egyptian market in 2011

Abstract: Escherichia coli strains are important causes of diarrheal disease in the world and remain a major public health problem of animals and human. Sixty seven samples from different kind of food, water, soil and composit were screened for the detection of verotoxin-producing E.coli (VTEC) in the Egyptian markets from different location.
