Screening of sarcopenia of haemodialysis patients

Abstract: The informativity of the screening method of sarcopenia «Strength, Assistance, Rise, Climb, Fall» in haemodialysis patients was evaluated. When diagnosing sarcopenia according to the recommendations of the European Working Group on Sarcopenia in Older People, the screening method studied showed a sarcopenia diagnosis accuracy index of 53%, that is, using this method eliminated rather than confirming the diagnosis of sarcopenia.
