Screening for personality disorders in geriatric medicine outpatients

Abstract: Aim Optimize screening of personality disorders (PDs) in geriatric medicine outpatients. Findings The Gerontological Personality disorder Scale (GPS) proves to be a reliable and valid tool to screen for PDs in Dutch geriatric medicine outpatients. Message Screening for PDs is of importance in geriatric medicine to enhance compliance and optimize medical treatment.
