Abstract: Background and Objective:Obstructive sleep apnoea is characterized by repetitive interruption of ventilation during sleep due to collapse of the pharyngeal airway leading to intermittent hypoxia, sleep fragmentation and is also associated with atherosclerosis, initiation and progression of cardiovascular disease.
