Screening for Asymptomatic Carotid Artery Stenosis in Adult Patients

Abstract: Carotid artery stenosis is a risk factor for stroke, but a relatively small proportion of strokes (approximately 11%) can be attributed to atherosclerosis of the internal carotid arteries.
