Screening and testing for latent tuberculosis infection among patients who are immunocompromised

Abstract

:It is critical to detect latent tuberculosis infection through screening and testing individuals at high risk of progression to active tuberculosis, including patients who are immunocompromised. NPs should be familiar with available testing for accurate diagnosis in order to expedite treatment.
