Abstract:Screened plasmon properties of graphene near a perfect electric conductor (PEC) are investigated taking into account the retardation effects. A detailed discussion of the dispersion relation of the mentioned screened plasmonic waves is presented and illustrated graphically using classical electrodynamics and a linearized hydrodynamic model that includes Fermi correction. The result indicates that for realistic wavenumbers, the dispersion relation of plasmonic waves of isolated graphene is almost unaffected by … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
