Abstract: Transforming growth factor-β (TGFβ) is crucial for liver fibrogenesis and the blunting of TGFβ signalling in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) or hepatocytes can effectively inhibit liver fibrosis. microRNAs (miRNAs) have emerged as key regulators in modulating TGFβ signalling and liver fibrogenesis.
