Micro‐Doppler effect removal for inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging based on augmented Lagrange multipliers

Abstract: Micro-Doppler (MD) effect may decrease the readability of inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging results, so it is more desirable to solve the problem of MD effect removal. To overcome this issue, a new algorithm based on Augmented Lagrange Multipliers (ALM) is proposed in this paper. In our study, the MD effect in ISAR image is proven to be of low-rank.
