ICN‐Enabled construction of undergraduates' online education platform and improvement of teaching reform effect

Abstract

The emergence and development of Internet technology has brought profound influence to the field of education. The construction of online education platform based on Internet can provide undergraduates with a more open learning environment and richer learning resources, which is of great significance to improve the effectiveness of teaching reform. Information‐centric Networking (ICN) has been widely used in different fields, and its application provides possibility for the construction of online education platform. This paper proposes cache strategy of ICN‐enabled online education platform traffic load control by deploying online education platform resources in ICN. The simulation results reveal that the proposed ICN‐enabled online education platform has improved the results of teaching reform in terms of teaching mode satisfaction, assessment method satisfaction, overall satisfaction, undergraduates' achievement, and the Quality of Experience (QoE) towards teaching reform.
