Abstract: NudE Neurodevelopment Protein 1 (NDE1) gene encodes a protein required for microtubule organization, mitosis, and neuronal migration. Biallelic pathogenic variants of NDE1 gene are associated with structural central nervous system abnormalities, specifically microlissencephaly and microhydranencephaly.
