Abstract:Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in the pre‐antiretroviral drug era was known to cause a variety of neurological syndromes, including HIV‐associated dementia, myelopathy, peripheral neuropathy, opportunistic infections of the nervous system and primary central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma.
