CPR related thoracic injury: a comparison of CPR guidelines between 2005 and 2010

Abstract: Aim: The objective of this study was to investigate the incidence and characteristics of thoracic injuries associated with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed under the 2005 and the 2010 guidelines.Methods: We evaluated patients who had an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in 2010 (2005 group) and 2012 (2010 group).
