In response, the CPSC, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Academy of Pediatrics published recommendations on scooter safety suggesting that adults supervise children younger than 10 years and emphasizing the use of protective gear such as helmets, wrist guards, and knee pads.…”
