Abstract:AimThis study aimed to systematically dissect the role of Scinderin (SCIN) in tumorigenesis.MethodsBioinformatics techniques were employed based on cancer data from TCGA, ENCORI, HPA, GEPIA2, UALCAN, Kaplan-Meier plotter, TIMER, TISIDB, cBioPortal, HCCDB, GeneMANIA and LinkedOmics database. Experiments in vitro and in vivo were conducted to dissect the role of SCIN in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC).ResultsSignificantly differential expression of SCIN was found in nine types of cancers, including LIHC.
