Scientific and methodological foundations to develop numerical hydrodynamical models of mine fields in Donbas

Abstract: The paper considers specific character of hydrogeological problems arising during the whole cycle of a mining enterprise operation; the most reliable their solutions are implemented in the context of numerical hydrodynamical models of mine fields. Basic approaches to schematize laminated carbonic formation through simplification of natural rock mass permeability have been substantiated; prediction algorithm of its changes during temporal transformation has been developed. Numerous identification problems solvi… Show more

“…Methods To identify the patterns of temporal and spatial changes of the groundwater regime in the selected site we used the finite-difference method and the software MIF developed at the Ukrainian State Geological-Prospecting Institute (Dnipro, Ukraine). This software was applied to hydrogeological analysis of numerous sites in Ukraine including water regulation issues in mining areas [14,15]. Numerical modelling of mining hydrodynamics included evaluation of ground-water regime parameters for the period of active coalmining and predictive calculations for closure and the post-mining period.…”

“…[60][61][62] specify general methods of the development of the numerical, mathematical geofiltration model involving several stages, among which are the following:-Systemization of data of mining and geological conditions; -The model identification in terms of the physical and dynamical analogy of the object; -Forecasting solutions (generally, integrity of the latter is identified by means of the schematization quality of the conditions as well as the model verification).…”
