Abstract

The fibers in the peripheral nervous system are frequent targets of injuries, being distributed throughout the length of the body. Such lesions culminate in motor, sensory and autonomic changes, thus recent evidence shows the influence ideal environment for growth of nerve fibers damaged in the Central Nervous System (CNS).
